LIVING CREATURES is a Danish contemporary dance production association founded in 1995-2024 dedicated to the artworks of choreographer Camilla Stage. Dancers, performers, musiciens, composers, costume, set & light designers as well as phographers and administration have vary from production to production.

The Productions in LIVING CREATURES have been supported by The Danish ART Council.

Camilla Stage presents a varied production of performances ranging from full-length works to solo's, duets etc.

Furthermore, Camilla Stage have cooprated as a guest performer and choreographer for a number of leading artists national and international.

Camilla Stage has a international following, and her work has been performed in Germany , Spain , Finland , Italy , and Switzerland.


Camilla Stage/Living Creatures have received financial support from the Danish Theatre Council/Danish Arts Council continuously since 1994.


In 1998, she received a 3 year Working Grant from the Danish Arts Foundation. She was awarded a 1 year ‘Graduate Advancement' scholarship for choreography at the Folkwang Hochschule in Germany where she studied dance & choreograpy for 5 years under the direction of the German choreographer Pina Bausch.
